- Good Housing: For better milk you should give sufficient space to live to your animals. Typically, 40 square feet inside, whereas 80 square feet outside space is needed for each animal. A farm sheltering 20 animals must have a minimum land area of 3000 square feet. On the other hand, to support 100 animals, a farm must have 13,000 to 15,000 square feet of space.
