\u2018 Myth\u2019 \u2013 the word says it all, so before believing in any of that think wisely.\u00a0 Well, I have heard a lot of goofed up stories about milk. Though believing in them would have been good for me considering my dislike for milk, the thing is how I can ignore my sense and sensibilities.\u00a0 Besides, I couldn\u2019t drop on the health fact. We all know what milk does to our health. Here are a few myths that have surfaced these days.<\/p>\n

  1. Boiling Milk Reduces the Nutrients<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I mean seriously? Who on earth even invented that? Common sense says, raw milk coming straight from the dairy farms contains bacteria and therefore it must be brought to boil for removal.\u00a0 However, you may not always need to boil the packaged milk as they are already processed for consumption. But, even if you do that, it will not affect its quality and will not reduce the nutrients. One of the eminent Nutritionist Shalini Manglani says, \u201cThere are no harmful effects of boiling the milk again and again. It wouldn\u2019t lose its nutritional value.\u201d<\/p>\n

    1. Organic Milk is better than the Regular Milk<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Tell me something honestly; do you see any difference between these two? Do you really? The quality, nutritional value, and safety of both the milk are same.\u00a0 They are different only they are produced on the farm. So you need not worry much about the categories.<\/p>\n

      1. Drink at least 2 Glasses of Water every day<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Sure, dairy is an important part of the diet, but that doesn\u2019t mean you will have drink two glasses every day. For people like me, it\u2019s so difficult to have one even, having two is almost impossible. Instead, you can add any form of dairies like cottage cheese or yogurt.<\/p>\n

        1. Carton Milk is Synthetic<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          It isn\u2019t. Trust me, it\u2019s anything but synthetic. Understandable that it tastes different than a regular one. It\u2019s because the cows from which the milk is collected are fed with the best quality fodder. Well, \u2018All that glitters is not gold\u2019 doesn\u2019t go with all.<\/p>\n

          1. Drinking Milk can Cause Early Puberty<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            One bizarre myth I tell you. Consuming milk simply has no link with children who are hitting puberty. As a matter of fact, growing children should drink more milk because the calcium it has to offer.<\/p>\n
